Version 1.2.0 Released

Version 1.2.0 of Robo Defense has been released. This version adds support for newer phone models with higher-resolution screens.

Also fixed is a bug where a game could report "> 500 Events" and stop.

    Would be nice to be able sell off upgrades on towers so that you can build up other tower types. Example you've brought rocket towers to +200%. You could sell that down to 0% and use the money to upgrade another tower type to a higher + percentage.

    Could it be possible to remove (or have option to remove) the zoom effect on the menu for tower upgrades? It slows down the game play when time is critical! :) thanks!

    After the update mine won't save either, so I lost all the points I made :(

    I ran ddms and this is what came out:

    Thanks for the DDMS dump, any details that can be provided are a help. None of us are able to reproduce the issue on our dev phones yet.

    You could try an uninstall/reinstall and see if the issue is cleared-up. Please let us know the results if you try this. We are talking about how we might reproduce this.

    Same issue here after the upgrade. If I uninstall/reinstall will my game progress be erased?

    I'm going to post this same message to the front page:

    An uninstall/reinstall of the game is reported by others to fix the issue. This is also inline with the error dump reported above.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling will not cause your progress to be lost, provided that you have an SD card installed. You can verify the backup file, robo_defense_full.bak, is present on the SD card for extra caution.

    Also, uninstalling/reinstalling will not recharge you for the game - the purchase is tied to your user id.

    Hi i bought the app and then i realized that i didn' t have cash on my account when i made the payment, now... the app shows as purchased but when i want to download it ,it will decline my credit card. I checked my gmail account and it says that the purchase was declined, but now i can't just rebuy it or retry the purchase because the app seems to be locked and i tried unstalling it but nothing seems to work, please help me... josecaina82@hotmail.com or gmail.com

    Hi, is there any chance to make this more compatible on the Archos 5IT. the game works but the pointer selection is slightly off and scrolling round the maps leaves parts offscreen making some maps unplayable, which i imagine is due to the native resolution of 800x480. This is an amazing tower defense game and we are lacking any real good games at the moment and what with the new line of android phones this resolution will be used more and more. Many thanks in advance.

    Hi, I'm in Canada and I notice we are now able to buy apps. Naturally, I bought this as soon as I could.

    I'm playing on an LG GW620R ("Eve") though, and ever since I installed the paid version it's been lagging a lot and seems to crash very often in the middle of a game, forcing me to reset my phone. This happens fairly often, but not as much if the app isn't running in the background. Is this normal, and is there a way to fix it?

    I guess I should mention that the game runs fine when I play on levels 6 or under.

    Also, what's the purpose of Mortars? And what counts as artillery shells when upgrading?
